Originally from Dallas, Texas, Sarah White came to Boston to attend Harvard University. She graduated in 2003 with an A.B. in Biological Anthropology and a NCAA Division I Championship in rowing under her belt. She rowed throughout college for Radcliffe Crew and since graduation has enjoyed expanding her athletic repertoire; yoga, kickboxing, hiking, surfing and gardening are her favorite activities. Sarah’s background in biological anthropology, her concentration in college, led to working for 2 years under Dr. Cheryl Knott, Assistant Professor of Biological Anthropology at Harvard University. While there, Sarah managed the integration and analysis of 10 years of orangutan ranging data, to be published in the International Journal of Primatology in August. Her interest in biological systems is more aimed towards the human species these days, as she is currently applying to medical schools. GoGirlGo! Boston is such a wonderful fit because athletics were integral in developing her confidence and healthy lifestyle.
