Recognizing high school teams that demonstrate leadership in their communities. Awarding a total of $50,000 in cash grants to 20 teams.  Deadline July 17, 2009.

Sportswoman of the Year
Every year, the Women's Sports Foundation recognizes an individual and team Sportswoman whose performances over a 12-month time span have been exceptional. Criteria is based on new records and world championships won. Past winners have included athletic greats like Nastia Liukin, Lorena Ochoa and Lisa Leslie. Who will be 2009's Sportswomen of the Year?
